Silk Scarf dyed with Natural Dyes

I started this scarf at the Textile Arts Center's dye garden and continued applying natural sources. I steamed the scarf by wrapping it with bull clips and cotton thread. I used hollyhock, purple and yellow onion skins, eucalyptus and a tea and rust mixture.
I pre-mordanted the scarf in alum.
To give the scarf some stiffness, I used a spray starch.
It's a dream to wear and adds a dressiness to my usual very casual wardrobe.
