rebecca kelly
web site: http://inliquid.org/complete-artist-list/kelly-rebeccca/ I am an experienced early childhood educator as well as an exhibiting visual artist, storyteller and curator, and have had over twenty years of experience in the arts. I hold a Master’s Degree in Child Development from Sarah Lawrence College. I have exhibited my work at many museums and galleries including The Philadelphia Center for the Book, The Perelman Library at the Philadelphia Museum of Art, The Hunterdon Art Museum and The Arts Council of Princeton. While working for Young Audiences of New Jersey, I spent more than ten years developing skills as a teaching artist and teacher trainer. I especially enjoy working with fellow artists, children and teachers in developing collaborative projects using various art experiences, including clay, collage, fabric, books, stories, wood, and prints. The experience of seeing projects through from vision to exhibition has been very gratifying to me. Most recently I have been exploring natural dye techniques, in addition to embroidery and knitting at the Textile Arts Center in Manhattan and Brooklyn. I also study at the Center for Book Arts in Manhattan.
